Cadman Plaza Field Trip

My best photograph

















The Phograph of the Brooklyn Federal Courthouse located in 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY. I find this photograph compelling because of the angle which is taken that appear almost symetrical. I took the highest part of that building which it appears like is almost reaching the sky. This architectural structure convey the experience of being in the past and surrounded by a built environment that its so diverse in style.

This picture really capture the look of New York at that time it shows the residential parts of the city have a distinctive character from the skyscrapers of the commercial cores that is defined by the elegant brownstone and apartment buildings which were built during the city's rapid expansion. In the bacgrounds shows the skyline of New York which is one of the most recognizable in the world until today.

home assignment

This picture i took it in the entrance of the school around 12 pm creating a great contrast between the persons and its background. The amount of light at that time was inmense and highlights the diversity of colors and shapes in the background in contrast with the siluetes of both persons.

Higgins used back light to create a contrast between the person silhouette and the background.
He uses a suttle contrast on the person's body to reflect the features of the person lower body.
This silhouette seems to represent a person kneeling with the arms on her head and from far it
appears to look like a chess figure.

my favorite pictures

This picture shows a bright colors such as light blue, white and some tint of gray in the sky in contrast of the dark green leaves on the rounded wall.





This picture is from Nicholas Eveleigh in folio 1, it shows a spider inside of the glass but what it made this picture interesting was the focus on the glass and the spider only so the background are faded but inside of the transparent glass shows the vivid colos of the walls and the table giving the glass a different color and the distorted look of the 3 sides of the wall. It also gives the spider a glow or halo.
